    From One Brett to Another

    Brett:

    Dude. You’re done. Stop trying to come back. Last I checked you wear number 4, not 23 and not 45. Thats why I wore 4 for 2 years. We shared a name and leadership role on our respective teams. But you play football, not basketball. You are not Michael Jordan. You cannot retire and then change your mind and unretire 30 different times.

    I think you’re awesome. Sick nasty. No one compares with your sheer grit and determination to play through the pain and in the face of adversity. But don’t ruin that image. Go out on top.
